Do I Really Need a Cancer Plan?

Well, generally, no one really plans to have cancer, but we all know that it could become a reality at any time.  So yes, it’s worth considering, especially because a cancer plan can often times be much more affordable than we may have thought.  Think about it like this, if you have a cancer plan all your life, and you never get to use it, that’s actually a very good thing.  However, if you do experience cancer, then it could make a tremendous difference, particularly financially.  I personally have a cancer plan via Colonial Life, one of the premier cancer plans in the marketplace.  And yes, I hope I never need to use it, but I’m ready and prepared for the Big “C” if ever needed.  In my early career, I was in the position to provide this cancer plan to literally thousands of my clients.  The plan sold itself, providing a full array of comprehensive services at a very affordable rate.  So, if you have the opportunity to purchase a plan via your workplace, then I highly recommend you consider this option.  At your workplace, these plans are almost always pre-taxable (which saves actual tax dollars) and you can generally keep the plan upon your departure from that workplace usually at the exact price.  So, consider it if you can!

In general, I absolutely recommend that you take a look at whatever may be offered through your work benefits.  However, many of my clients are independent business owners, students, retired and may not have access to a group cancer plan.  Companies such as Colonial Life, Aflac, Cigna, Globe Life, Guardian and others do not always offer their cancer plans on an individual basis, and therefore simply not available to many folks.

I’ve got your answer.  For many years I searched for a Cancer Plan that would work for all my individual clients that didn’t have access through their workplace.  The good news, I found it.

The answer is Banker’s Fidelity Cancer Plan.  This plan pays a Lump Sum (You choose the amount!) benefit and can be customized to cover many other comprehensive benefits, such as $500 Daily Hospitalization, up to 100% Re-Occurrence, $1,000 Skin Cancer, and others that can be added such as Radiation and Chemotherapy payments.  The best news, pricing is the same for ages 30 through 69.  Monthly premiums start as low as $18.96 for a basic $15,000 Lump Sum benefit.

Food for thought; “the best plan for cancer, is to have a cancer plan for cancer!”
